Each year Jurlique release a beautiful limited edition intense version of their international best selling Rosewater Balancing Mist and I’m excited to say its back for 2016. It comes in a gorgeous limited edition 200ml pink glass bottle, even the outer cardboard packaging is just too pretty to throw away.
The product has such a lovely fresh scent of roses and I find its ideal for keeping on your desk and spritzing throughout the day, keeping your skin feeling fresh and hydrated – also the bottle just looks so pretty sat out on display.
This mist is enriched with a unique blend of five precious rose extracts grown on Jurlique’s farm in Australia – including,
• Rosa centifolia: Smooths
• Rosa canina: Hydrates
• Rosa gallica: Restores
• Rosa multiflora: Brightens
• Hibiscus rosa-sinensis: Softens
This is a product that will hydrate your skin & keep it looking radiant, whilst the antioxidants protect it from natural aggressors and its a lovely way to refresh your skin & your makeup throughout the day.
This 200ml deluxe bottle is a whopper and you will last you for months and months – so you won’t be afraid to indulge and lightly mist your skin as often as you please.
In the UK Jurlique will be donating a 5% of sales of this years Rosewater Balancing Mist to support the London Wildlife Trust which is a UK based charity dedicated to protecting the capitals wildlife and wild spaces. So that is really in keeping with Jurlique’s ethos of giving back to the earth and helping nature and people thrive.
If you’re not already familiar with Jurlique, they’re an Australian brand which was started back in 1985 by a husband & wife dedicated to harnessing the power of nature to create incredibly effective products. Their ethos was Nature + Science = Beauty and to this day Jurlique develop high performance skincare, using potent, biodynamic (Biodynamics is a spiritual-ethical-ecological approach to agriculture, food production and nutrition), organic and natural ingredients sourced the world over.
Jurlique have an Organic Farm in the Adelaide Hills of Australia where the magic happens and this was the brain child of the founders Dr Jurgen Klien and his wife Ulrike, a Horticulturist and a Botanist with passion for combining nature with science to deliver natural skincare with long lasting effects. To this day the farm is thriving and its where many of the herbs, flowers and plants are grown for Jurlique’s products.
Jurlique is also a brand with an emphasis on the environment, they are committed to sourcing their ingredients from sustainable fair trade suppliers and use biodegradable & recyclable materials in their packaging. As a brand Jurlique are always helping to support the empowerment of women all over the world with their Ideas Of Beauty Fund which is not for profit, it focuses on supporting ideas that empower and educate women & children globally.
This year sees the brand celebrating 30 successful years and to celebrate their 30th anniversary Jurlique have crafted this special more intense version of their iconic Rose Hand Cream. Using the beautiful and fragrant Alchemist Rose and Pure Rosa Gallica Flower Water Jurlique have created the Limited Edition Precious Rose Hand Cream*.
For the past 30 years roses have been at the heart of Jurlique’s skin care bestsellers and this limited edition cream is a nod to their heritage. This special new release is truly an indulgent treat for your hands.
The hand cream comes beautifully packaged in a sleek cream tube with red metallic writing and lid, it looks and feels very luxurious. It feels and smells indulgent, the rose scent is intense and beautiful (don’t think old lady think vibrant and luxurious). I really like rose scented products and they’re something Jurlique do very very well, this Precious Rose Hand Cream leaves my hands feeling instantly nourished and visibly smooth, there is no greasy residue left behind at all. If like me you have very dry hands then this cream will leave them velvety soft and it provides lasting hydration. After you apply this cream the rose fragrance stays on your hands for quite a while which is lovely.
You get a whopping 150ml of product and for a hand cream thats a substantial amount so this is going to last me months. Its currently sat (looking pretty) on my bedside table and I like to apply it morning and night taking time to really massage it in to my hands.
So this joins a very long line up of products I like & would recommend you trying, but remember this is limited edition so be quick if you want to treat yourself.
