I think as I’m writing this that the #LFxJurlique Beauty Box* has sold out – in record time. I can 100% understand why, this box is jam packed with skin loving treats from Australian skincare experts Jurlique. As with all the LookFantastic Beauty Boxes it was fantastic value for money and a great introduction to Jurlique as the box includes many of their best selling Rose Hydration products.

The luxurious contents of this box are worth over £85 but retailed at just £40. This box includes many of Jurlique’s best selling Rose products, which are all available individually too.

Jurlique Beauty Box

I’m excited to see some of my favourite Jurlique products included in this box, the Rose Hand Cream is beautifully hydrating and leaves your hands feeling soft and smooth, I always have a tube of this on the go. Their Rosewater Balancing Mist is one of Jurlique’s best known products and is perfect for refreshing your skin (especially during the Summer) and giving the skin a boost of hydration. I leave this sat on my desk so I can spritz it throughout the day, its nice both under makeup or on top to refresh the skin.

I’m excited to try the Rose Moisture Plus Moisturising Cleanser It sounds very gentle and lovely for days when your skin is feeling dry and looking dull. The ingredients enhance cell turnover and dissolve dirt and impurities so this will work well as an evening cleanse to remove all that pollution and dirt from the skin and enhance skins radiance.

All the products in this box are luxurious and have a list of skin loving ingredients, of course at the centre are the beautiful roses which are grown on Jurlique’s biodynamic, organic farm which is nestled in the Adelaide Hills of Australia. The farm uses steam, water and fire to extract the intense hydrating properties of roses for the Rose Hydration Range. If you’re ever lucky enough to be Adelaide you can book a tour of the Jurlique Farm to see and learn about the nature and science behind our skin care products.

If you tend to shy away from Rose scented products because you think they are a little old fashioned or smell too floral don’t let that put you off. Jurlique’s Rose Collection is delicate and light in scent and smells a lot more modern and dewy. If you have the chance you must try it for yourself I think you will be surprised at how lovely and fresh the scent is.

These are ideal for beach days or keeping your hair off your face in in the Summer. If you haven’t seen this style of hair tie before, they’re designed to tie your hair up without leaving any dents or marks. They’re also gentle on your hair and won’t break or damage your hair. So you can easily wear your hair up or down. You get 3 bobbles in the box and I will be keeping one in my handbag as I love being able to pop my hair up when I am driving or eating.

NUXE Huile Prodigieuse 10ml

I adore NUXE products but have never used their shimmer oil. This is a stunning golden shimmer dry oil which will help your skin look glowing and give it that golden sheen. Its not only looks beautiful but will also help to moisturise your skin as it contains 6 different plant oils and is enriched with Vitamin E to soften and smooth. So I am looking forward to applying this to my legs and getting them a little more Summer ready.

Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil

OK, so I did a squeal of delight when I saw this was included in the July Box. I have seen so many people reviewing the new Benefit Brow range & I am so excited to try this out for myself. This is a deluxe sample size and I have the darkest shade 6 which works out well as I have very dark brows. This is an angled eyebrow pencil which has been designed to allow you to sill in any gaps with ease and give you perfectly manicured brows. They claim it gives 12 hours of waterproof wear (I will put that to the test). Its a twist up pencil and the product does feel soft. I love the packaging of these brow products & I am so excited to have this in my collection.

This Works In Transit Camera Close Up 20ml

I have heard lots of wonderful reviews about the This Works range but I don’t think I have ever tried anything from them. So I am thrilled that I get to try a new brand product & a girl can never have too many moisturisers. This is a deluxe sample and at 20ml its perfect to take on holiday, I am going to save it for my trip to Amsterdam. This is a primer & a moisturiser in one, it is packed full of skin loving ingredients including, Hyluronic Acid and Starflower Oils. This promises to smooth out skin providing the perfect canvas for makeup and its caffeine infused formula boosts skins natural radiance and gives you a flawless finish. Sounds perfect!

Kebelo Silk Anti Freeze Cream Serum 15ml

Its always nice to get a hair styling product in beauty boxes. I had never heard of this brand before but I do have frizzy hair so this will be put to good use. It has a paraben free formula and contains Chamomile, Quinoa and Amaranth which work together to nourish, repair and revitalise your hair. Argan Oil and Jojoba Oil It will also give it a beautiful shine, so thats all bases covered. I can’t wait to try it out.

Bellá Pierre Lip and Cheek Stain 5g

I think this pink is a gorgeous Summer shade and I would use it more as a blush than a lip product. Its oil free and won’t clog pores or make the skin look greasy as the weather gets warmer. This is a very wearable shade I am starting to use cream products a lot more.

Another great beauty box, the Benefit Eyebrow Pencil & This Works Moisturiser are my stand out products this month. Let me know what you think about the contents and if you have used any of the products.

Vichy Liftactive Moisturiser – I adore Vichy products and this 15ml pot is a great sample size. This moisturiser has been specially formulated to firm and tone the skin. Specifically targeting signs of fine lines and wrinkles. So if you are all about radiant, plump hydrated skin this would be a great option.

Decléor – you get one of 3 products, I received the Decléor Intense Nutrition Cream which contains cranberry plant oils, argran and avocado to nourish and protect the skin. This sounds lovely and soothing and they say its great for perking up tired complexions.

Eve Lom Cleanser – This is just a sachet but you do get a muslin cloth too. This pioneering beauty balm was first introduced to the beauty industry 29 years ago, so it is a cult classic & very much at the forefront of balm cleansers. It is suitable for all skin types, that decongests, softens and leaves a highly receptive base for your beauty products to work with.

As the country awaits the arrival of Royal Baby Number 2 & we find out if it is a girl or a boy, The people at Birchbox have packed their April Box full of products they think are ‘Royally Good’.

Subscribers had the opportunity to pick from three Laura Mercier products this month and they included a Foundation Primer, Mascara or Eyeliner. In my box was the eyeliner which is in the most gorgeous vibrant violet shade. I love the colour & think it will look so pretty over Spring & Summer. I really like Laura Mercier makeup & have never been disappointed by anything I have tried so I am very excited to wear this eyeliner.

Percy & Reed Smoothed, Sealed and Sensational Volumising No Oil Oil 30ml / Full Size 60ml £14.00

This is a multi use product (which I love) it tames hair without weighing it down, adds volume to lacklustre hair, provides shine and also acts as a heat protectant. You add a few drops to towel dried hair & style as normal. I like using hair oils & Percy & Reed are a brand I really enjoy.

bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash 30ml / Full size 197ml £19.50

This is a 2 in 1 cleanser and exfoliator  which promises to leave skin soft and fresh. It contains rose hips, camomile and passion flower and smells incredible and summery. I’m hoping it leaves my skin looking bright and refreshed. I have never tried anything from this brand but always read good things about their range.

Royally Good Brichbox April 2015

Lola Barcelona Nail Polish in Garcia 8ml  / Full Size 8ml £7.50

This colour is a Birchbox exclusive so thats pretty cool. The colour is a bold bright pink, I think its the cutest colour to wear on my toes. Its an ideal holiday colour too. Very pretty indeed.

Korres Bergamot Pear Shower Gel 40ml / Full Size 250ml £8.00

It seems Korres is quite popular in the Beauty Box world this month, as I received a shampoo in my Lookfantastic Box too. I am not complaining as I am a huge fan of this natural Greek brand and love trying new products from their range. This shower gel has quite a masculine scent which I like and look forward to trying this.

This is my first Birchbox & I was so excited to receive it. I think Birchbox have done a great job with this month Royally Good Box & I can’t wait to pamper myself using all the wonderful products, especially the bliss face wash & the Lola nail polish. Oh & I am hoping the Royal baby is a girl.
