Pureology Fullfyl Haircare System

Pureology Fullfyl Haircare System

Pureology Fullfyl Haircare System

Pureology are a brand that I have been eager to try for a long time, the reviews I read of their haircare range are always super positive, so I jumped at the opportunity to test out 3 products from their Fullfyl System Range.

This Pureology Fullfyl System is 100% vegan, sulphate free and is a 3-step hair care system developed to give volume, thickness and added texture to fine colour treated hair. Their signature AntiFade Complex includes a blend of antioxidants and full spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreens which care for your colour and optimise colour retention along with protecting your locks from hard environmental aggressors and damaging free radicals. So I have loved having this range over the Summer, I live in Cornwall so spend a lot of time outside and often worried about my hair being exposed to the sun and saltwater, this trio of products has kept my hair feeling hydrated, soft and super glossy!

So this haircare system includes,

Pureology Fullfyl Shampoo* £19.95

This does have a nice lather despite it being sulphate free, which I like. I do find that this leaves my hair feeling very clean and I wouldn’t be able to only use the shampoo as it felt just a little dry but I guess that’s what makes this a system in that each product does a roll & the shampoo cleanses, the conditioner then goes in and adds back the moisture. The shampoo is sulphate free and contains a plant based starch Keravis which helps give texture and volume to your hair. I have naturally wavy hair & I loved the weightless texture this gave. I am also addicted to using dry shampoo and this Fullfyl shampoo made light work of removing product build-up, which is a must for me.

Pureology Fullfyl Conditioner* £20.00

This is the star of the show for me, I think that because Conditioner is the product which makes your hair feel and look healthy and glossy. You apply this after shampooing & massage it in from the roots and into the length, then you leave it for 2 minutes and rinse. This leaves your hair knot free and silky soft without hair feeling limp or product heavy.

Pureology Vegan Haircare

Pureology Fullfyl Densifying Spray* £26.00

I can be lazy when it comes to haircare and quite often skip any steps after shampoo and conditioner but I soon discovered this spray wasn’t an unnecessary step. In fact I think this is the product that adds that extra volume, texture and va va voom to your locks. You spray this on to damp hair, section by section beginning at the scalp and massaging into the roots – then work it through to the ends. Don’t use too much or you will cross the line from thicken to crispy & no one wants that! I am in LOVE with this spray & have used it after every wash – even if I have used another shampoo & conditioner (naughty)

It smells so refreshing and Summery, not that I could make out individual notes but it contains nectarine, pineapple, amber, melon, mango, a few floral touches of jasmine and tropical gardenia and lastly creamy vanilla, amber and soft woods – so it has quite the cocktail of scents but they all work so well together and all three products smell incredible.

Key Ingredients

  • Pureology’s signature AntiFadeComplex helps keep colour wonderfully vibrant and shiny
  • PhytoBlend™, a plant-derived Amino Acid and Plant Protein, is known to wrap around hair fibre to create a further densifying effect

So if you have dry, limp, flat colour treated hair then you 100% need this haircare trio in your life. For salon quality haircare Pureology are affordable and their products are Vegan, Sulphate Free & as a brand are committed to sustainability.

Ogario Haircare

Ogario Hydrate and Shine Shampoo

Ogario Hydrate and Shine Shampoo

I was introduced to Mario Haircare a couple of months ago when I tried their lovely Restore and Shine Hair Masque, so I was excited to try another product from their range.

Ogario products have been developed exclusively by London-based independent salon and their products contain so many beautiful natural ingredients. In fact, all their products are made with naturally-derived, active ingredients and essential oils.

‘As many as eight essential oils are chosen for each of our shampoos, conditioners, and hair masque. But these unique blends are not only used to fragrance products. Many of the oils work alongside the naturally-derived active ingredients to give benefits to the hair and scalp. From stimulating the hair follicles to helping reduce breakage, these aromatic oils are carefully selected to help nourish and condition the hair and scalp.’

Ogario Hydrate & Shine Shampoo* £16.50 / 250ml

This award-winning shampoo is for people with dry / coloured hair, although my hair isn’t coloured it is quite dry and frizzy, so this is ideal for me. This shampoo contains some lovely ingredients that will help nourish, hydrate and add shine to your hair, including

  • Moringa Seed – Helps protect hair from environmental aggressors, deeply moisturising and conditions the scalp.
  • Pro Vitamin B5 – Prevents split ends and improves damaged hair.
  • Lavender – Great at repairing damaged hair and the scent is very soothing too.

Ogario Haircare Shampoo

This shampoo lathers up really well, allowing you to work the product easily into your hair & scalp. After using it my hair feels like I have removed all the build up of product (i use a lot of dry shampoo) and it feels ultra clean, not dry but very clean. I do have to use a conditioner with this, but my husband who has very dry hair said that he doesn’t need to always use one.

This leaves my hair with a gorgeous, glossy sheen and it feels so nourished. I loved the scent of the hair masque that I’d previously used from this brand, and I have to say this shampoo smells incredible too. It has quite a sweet citrus scent to it, which is quite refreshing in the morning. I don’t use this daily as for me, it feels more like a clarifying shampoo, twice a week works well for me. My hair looks less frizzy, more glossy and in better condition all round.

If you’re looking for salon quality haircare which will give your hair that nourished, glossy healthy look whilst also protecting it from damage and split ends then this shampoo might be a great option for you. If you don’t have dry hair, then Ogario also offer a great range of products for a variety of haircare needs.

Neal and Wolf Luxury Haircare Review

I love to use nice hair products, I’m trying to use products that tame my locks and leave it glossy. I have naturally wavy hair and most days I don’t use heat on it as I let it dry naturally (apart from my fringe). I like the effortless look and have been growing my hair for the past year as I want to plat it and do lots of hairstyles that require long locks. Slowly but surely I’m getting there and my hair is now down to my shoulders.

I was kindly sent three products from Neal and Wolf to try. I’ve been using them for almost 6 weeks now and feel I can really give you a good review of them. I had never heard of this brand before but a quick google search showed that I have clearly been living under a rock as they are really well-known and loved by a lot of people.

Neal & Wolf

You can’t purchase them on the high street they are only available in selected hairdressers and online. You can order them from the Neal & Wolf online shop here.

I have been trying their Daily Cleansing Shampoo, Intense Care Treatment and the Super Shine Spray.

Neal and Wolf

Neal and Wolf

The Daily Cleansing Shampoo 250ml – £10.95

I wash my hair every 3 days and I so look forward to using this shampoo as it leaves no greasy heavy residue in your hair and if you didn’t want to condition your hair you’d still be left with glossy locks. It’s a very gentle cleansing shampoo and it smells utterly luxurious. It has a mixture of silk, milk and shea extract. I don’t think I have used a shampoo as nice as this, I feel like my hair is getting a treatment and so am I. You just have to smell it to understand.

Hair care

Intensive Care Conditioner 200ml – 12.95

My hair can get dry even though I very rarely use heat to style it and with dry hair comes flyaway hair, which is so hard to tame but this conditioner is so creamy and nourishing. I use this once a week for a really deep luxurious treatment and leave it on my hair for 10 minutes. Neal & Wolf say that ‘The difference in texture and appearance is truly stunning, leaving hair shiny, healthy and manageable.’ I have to agree my hair is very silky and bouncy not weighed down at all. This is my favourite product from the 3 I have tried.

Super Shine Spray 100ml – £11.95

The first thing I need to say about this is that it smells better than some of my perfumes It’s blooming lovely. This is a spray that you put on after styling on dry hair to really ramp up the shine. I tend to spray it more on the length of my hair as I get greasy roots very easily. You only need a couple of sprays to do the job & the spray action is very even is like a mist which I like.

I have to say I’m thrilled to have been introduced to this brand and I have my eye on a couple more things from them. Their hair care would make a really nice gift for someone who is into hair care as their packaging is really luxurious and the products are like having a salon experience at home. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Let me know if you have tried anything from Neal & Wolf as I’d love to hear your recommendations.

* These three products were kindly sent to me for my consideration. My review is 100% my own.
