Depotting Mac Shadows

So today I will be attempting to depot my Mac eyeshadows into a palette which I recently purchased from Katy who has a blog called Rotten Otters’s Thoughts. I don’t have a huge collection of Mac shadows. I’ve been collecting them slowly and really trying to buy colours that I will get a lot of use of & for me that’s always neutral colours.

The colours I have at the moment are

Bisque

Amber Lights

Naked Lunch

Woodwinked

Satin Taupe

Nylon

I’m quite nervous to de pot them so was hoping someone has some words of wisdom or advice for me before I jump in and make a complete hash of it. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated. Also if you have any suggestions as so what shadows I need in my collection to fill my palette. I have my eye on Time & Space and All That Glitters.

A Little Mac Shopping

I’ve been trying to add some staple colours to my eyeshadow collection and being a lover of all things neutral I headed to Mac to pick up some firm favourites in the blogger world. I got Satin Taupe and Naked Lunch – after watching Tanya Burr’s Top Mac Eyeshadows video on Youtube   I am always in two minds whether to de-pot them or not. Do you? Would you recommend it?

So yes I purchased those two shades and love them so far so rich and warm in colour both are a frost finish and the Satin Taupe especially looks so pretty. They will be well used in my everyday makeup routine i am sure. I know so many of you will have them or have read about them but I wanted to do a small post on them just because I LOVE them. Any trip to Mac is always worth a post, right!? I go to the Mac Store in Liverpool as  its always friendly and they are very helpful soI try to go there when im in town. Which Mac store do you go in?

I thought as there have been so many reviews on these eyeshadows I would just post photos of how awesome they are.

Stunning colours and I’m pleased as punch with them. Now what do you recommend I get next? I have Woodwinked and Bisque (my fave all over lid base shade). As well as a couple other limited edition shades.
