If you’re a beauty addict like me then discovering new brands and products is something you enjoy doing and beauty boxes are a wonderful way of getting a selection of products directly to your door. I like that you receive products you wouldn’t normally try and also that you’re introduced to brands you have never heard of. Well there is a new Beauty Subscription Box on the scene called Look Incredible* and they promise you will receive 5 FULL sized products in each box.

‘Why we are different from other beauty box’s because our promise is that we will deliver you a minimum of 5 full size products meaning no tester , no travel size we deliver the Real deal full size product you would except when you buy from the high street so you can really test the product out’ Our beauty box can contain diverse range of skin care , hair care to makeup its a total surprise till you get your very own.

The January Box got me pretty excited when I opened the lid and saw what products were inside!

BareMinerals Redness Remedy £27

Reduce facial redness on contact and over time with this incredibly effective soothing treatment. It minimises the appearance of imperfections and imparts luminosity for a healthy-looking, more even-toned complexion. Appropriate for all skin types. Includes antibacterial-treated Soothing Compress Brush. I was excited to see not one but two bareMinerals products in this months box. I am excited that both of these products are new to me and I do suffer from redness in my cheeks so I have my fingers crossed that this helps reduce that. I love the double ended brush that you get in this kit too, you can never own too many makeup brushes.

BareMinerals Flawless Lash Mascara £17 

This is a jet black mascara with a tapered plastic bristle wand, it promises to lengthen, darken and give a lifted look, separating each individual lash for precision definition. I love trying new mascaras and I’m always on the hunt for that perfect one. I do like my lashes to look long and separated so this could be my perfect mascara, lets hope so.

YSL Lip Twins £24.99

I had never heard of this product before but was quite excited to see a YSL product in a beauty box. This is a duo of lip colours that comes in sleek gold YSL packaging. This product is discontinued and it seems that it is not complete as when these Lip Twins were sold they came with a lip brush and unfortunately the product you receive in your box doesn’t come boxed or with the lip brush. I like the idea of trying a YSL lipstick but these seem a little gimmicky and I can see why they were discontinued. Also for the 1.7g of product you get I would never pay over £20 for that! After my initial excitement I was a little disappointed with the quality and the fact the product is incomplete.

Essie Stee-ling The Scene £8.50

This is a gorgeous silver pewter shade with a metallic finish and being someone that only owns 2 other Essie polishes I was very excited to see this in the box. Although when searching for a little more information about which collection the polish was from I noticed that it was released as part of the Essie Winter 2007 Collection. That seems a little odd to me although, the product is still 100% ok and has no separation. I do love the colour and I’m looking forward to using it.

Laura Geller Baked ImPRESSions Blush £10

Laura Geller Baked Impressions Blush in Mocha Mauve. A baked and pressed powder in an ultra-smooth formula, complete with a mirror in the lid. I have never tried anything from Laura Geller but this is a pretty blush and a shade that I wouldn’t have picked out for myself. Its a nice pinky plum shade and I think its really pretty. Always good to have a new blush to try out. Let me know if this is a brand you have heard of & if you have any product recommendations. I was surprised that this blush was only £10 because the quality and pigmentation is so good, I would pay that in a heartbeat.

YSL in the Look Incredible Beauty Box

The Look Incredible Beauty Box is a monthly subscription & for £18.99 you will receive 5 Full Sized products each month. I think a couple products in this months box were a little underwhelming but on the whole I am impressed. I am looking forward to using the bareMinerals products and the Laura Geller Blush is gorgeous too. The contents of the January Box is over £87. I just wish the YSL product was current because if I loved it how would I purchase more if the product has been discontinued and also how old is the product in the box. If that was all sorted then this box would have been 10/10 for me.

It is nice to a new subscription box on the scene and one that won’t include small samples and sachets. I am excited to see what is in next months box if their previous months are anything to go by its going to be a good one. Earlybird TasteBox* is a fairly new weekly snack service with a difference, much like Graze (which is the most well known healthy snack service) you get a selection of healthy snacks each week & they pop through your letterbox in a slim brightly coloured box. The slight difference is you also get two tea bags to enjoy and each month there is a new illustration to enjoy / inspire you.

One more addition they will be adding to the box is music, Tastebox will be introducing you to a musical talent each month. I think this will be in future boxes as it wasn’t included in my box but I think its a great idea, I love discovering new music.

So the most exciting part of the box (in my opinion) are the snacks, you get five healthy tasty snacks, one portion for each weekday. All my snacks were well under 200 calories & four of the five were vegan.  I work from home and lets just say I ate most of the snacks within 2 days (too yummy). In this box I received

Berry Berry Nice

This is strawberry mixed with flame raisins, golden raisins and cranberries. One portion is equal to one of your five a day? This was a lovely sweet snack, I really like dried fruits and I liked that it had strawberries mixed in too. Suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans.

Koh Tao

Delicious rice crackers with a touch of garlic, kaffir lime and chili, all the way from Thailand, where they produce some of the world’s best rice. These are a very light snack at only 85 calories, I enjoyed these a lot & would quite happily ate a much bigger bag. Suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans.

Milky Berry

These are a mix of cranberries, blackcurrants and white chocolate. I ate the fruit but couldn’t eat the white chocolate – although it smelt so good! I wouldn’t opt to get this snack again because its not Vegan.

Salt ‘N Pepa Cashews

These were so morish & I think my favourite snack out of the five. They’re such a simple snack but so tasty- just cashews roasted in salt and pepper seasoning. Suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans

Señor José

This was unusual but very tasty –  broad beans mixed with giant corn, soft corn and a chilli seasoning. Señor José is only 130 calories per bag. It’s a perfect low calorie snack to curb hunger cravings between meals. Suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans

English Breakfast Tea & Mint and Lime Tea – I am familiar with the former & drink it daily but Mint and Lime is a new one to me. I am not the biggest fan of mint but the lime made it quite a refreshing tea. I wouldn’t be in a rush to try it again but I am excited to see what other teas come in future boxes.

For my first box I was very pleased, the tea’s were good and all apart from the Milky Berry snacks were Vegan friendly so that pleased me. I’m someone that loves to snack and this kind of subscription service is right up my street, healthy but satisfying. Like I said I ate all the snacks within 2 days (greedy) but that just goes to show how tasty they are.

You can cancel your subscription at anytime and Early Bird Tastebox also allow you to Pause your subscription too which is very handy if you’re away from home or on holiday and you don’t want to return to a backlog of snacks that may have past their best.

Subscribers had the opportunity to pick from three Laura Mercier products this month and they included a Foundation Primer, Mascara or Eyeliner. In my box was the eyeliner which is in the most gorgeous vibrant violet shade. I love the colour & think it will look so pretty over Spring & Summer. I really like Laura Mercier makeup & have never been disappointed by anything I have tried so I am very excited to wear this eyeliner.

Royally Good Birchbox April 2015

Percy & Reed Smoothed, Sealed and Sensational Volumising No Oil Oil 30ml / Full Size 60ml £14.00

This is a multi use product (which I love) it tames hair without weighing it down, adds volume to lacklustre hair, provides shine and also acts as a heat protectant. You add a few drops to towel dried hair & style as normal. I like using hair oils & Percy & Reed are a brand I really enjoy.

bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash 30ml / Full size 197ml £19.50

This is a 2 in 1 cleanser and exfoliator  which promises to leave skin soft and fresh. It contains rose hips, camomile and passion flower and smells incredible and summery. I’m hoping it leaves my skin looking bright and refreshed. I have never tried anything from this brand but always read good things about their range.

Royally Good Brichbox April 2015

Lola Barcelona Nail Polish in Garcia 8ml  / Full Size 8ml £7.50

This colour is a Birchbox exclusive so thats pretty cool. The colour is a bold bright pink, I think its the cutest colour to wear on my toes. Its an ideal holiday colour too. Very pretty indeed.

Korres Bergamot Pear Shower Gel 40ml / Full Size 250ml £8.00

It seems Korres is quite popular in the Beauty Box world this month, as I received a shampoo in my Lookfantastic Box too. I am not complaining as I am a huge fan of this natural Greek brand and love trying new products from their range. This shower gel has quite a masculine scent which I like and look forward to trying this.

The Fragrannce Shop Box

I have wanted to try the Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Floral Drops and the new Stella perfume for ages and have been loving both of them. I think the Stella McCartney Stella Eau de Toilette is my favourite from this box and is described as,

‘A fresh and sparkling scent of garden rose. It contains the same notes of amber and rose as the original, but includes additional accords of frozen lemon, mandarin, freesia, peony and violet leaf. It opens with fresh mandarin and frozen lemon, balanced with watery tones of freesia to create a soft, dewy feeling. The floral heart of Bulgarian rose essence with crunchy violet leaves and delicate peony petals, brings a freshness to the fragrance, while amber gris base notes reveal a masculine undertone.’

Its such a pretty fresh, zesty scent with a musky twist and it lasts all day on me. I can spray it in the morning and still smell it on myself at the end of the night. I am going to use one of the vouchers in the booklet to treat myself to this for Easter!
